2011

Globell launches Software-Choice. The new web presence combines an online shop with news from the world of software, tutorials, tips and social media into a 360° portal.

2010

With 14 years under its belt, Globell boasts 32 international brands and products in its portfolio, including world market leaders like WinZip, onOne, Neuxpower and ACDSee. Globell sells more than 100 different products in 42 countries worldwide via its online shop.

2009

Globell opens its distribution office in Munich, establishing a firm presence in Europe’s most important technology location.

2007

Rebranding into Globell B.V. and further expansion of the product portfolio. The enterprise offers software in six established product groups: Photo & Graphics, Compression, Edutainment, Tools & Utilities as well as Multimedia. Globell continuously develops other European markets.

2002

Top Systems becomes a subsidiary company of the German company net AG, the first step towards further internationalization. The product portfolio grows consistently in the area Photo & Graphics. Addition of other brands to the product line Tools & Utilities.

2000

Addition of more international brands and further extension of the product portfolio in the area Tools & Utilities. Firmly established software publisher in German-speaking Europe.

1996

Founding of the software publisher Top Systems with focus on the product area Tools & Utilities. The first international brand of this company is the compression tool WinZip. Core markets are Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Steady expansion of the dealership network over the following years. From the very beginning, the company is committed to online distribution.
